**THE POSITION**

**Our roster has an opening with your name on it**

Responsible for an efficient and timely exchange of cash in the form of wagers from guests. This position is responsible for supporting the Sports Betting operation by selling tickets and ensuring the proper payouts are processed. **This role is posted on behalf of our partner, Tioga Downs.**

**THE GAME PLAN**

**Everyone on our team has a part to play**

* Provides excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.

* Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.

* Provides prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests, utilizing the highest degree of skill in writing and handling wagering tickets.

* Maintains professional and courteous interactions with all guests.

* Ensures that all abbreviated and fast requests from the guest is attended to in the same fashion.

* Ensures that information is accurately entered into the machine and maintains control of the tickets until paid for by the guest.

* Utilizes top level guest service standards to provide exceptional service to guests.

* Be constantly aware of Monitored Customer tracking; notifying a Supervisor of any players with action requiring a tracking number.

* Properly accounts for all cash received.

* Ensures all voids are processed properly.

* Knows all terms and conditions pertaining to sports wagering.

* Must be fully aware of lines and odds in the Sportsbook.

* Remains alert to any peculiar betting patterns such as messenger betting and reports promptly to the Supervisor.

* Must observe confidentiality of privileged information obtained as a result of normal working procedures.

* Must be aware of all Title 31 procedures; making sure that Title 31 transactions are entered on the MTL log.

* Fills out appropriate tax forms (W2-G) when necessary.

* Proper documentation of all transactions in excess of $3000 on MTL.

* Remains focused on Sports Betting Cashier duties to ensure an efficient workflow.

* Answers guest questions courteously and informatively while using brief expressions of goodwill to deliver superior guest service.

* Closes up window while following due process at shifts end to record and account for all transactions and monies.

* Cleans up work area and helps maintain the facilities cleanliness.

* All other duties as assigned.

**THE STATS**

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* Customer Service experience required.

* Must be 21 years of age.

* Strong background and in-depth knowledge of the industry and wagering process a must.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

* Interpersonal and communication skills; ability to act professionally and confidently interact with all constituents.

* Demonstrates poise, tact, judgment and diplomacy.

* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

* Ability to respond to common inquires or complaints from guests.

* Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
