Full Time, 35 hours | 12-month school calendar program

Full-Time Special Education Teachers opportunities in our New Hyde Park and Woodbury schools.

Salary: $70k - $85k, based upon experience and credentials

Brookville Center for Children s Services provides comprehensive services for children 3-21 years of age with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and autism. Approved by NYSED, DOH and OCFS, our mission is to educate and support children of all abilities.

We require:

• Bachelor s required; Master s preferred
• New York State Certification in Special Education required
• Birth-2 certification
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education, Child Development, required through completion of a Master s Degree in Special Education.
• Minimum one (1) year early childhood-related experience to plan individual education plans (IEP s) to meet the special needs of each child preferred. Prior early childhood teaching experience with a special education preschool required.
• Physical capacity: Aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of students
