SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry has the pleasure of assisting a successful, prestigious Manhattan private school who is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Start date July through September, flexible. This is a 12-month program.

Salary: $70,000-$85,000 DOE

Excellent benefits package : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Hours : Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities for the Special Education Teacher :

• Create academic plans and goals based on assessment data
• Supervise a 1:1 classroom and 2:1 instructors in the classroom
• Monitor and analyze each student s progress related to communication, academics, behavior and social skills
• Responsible for academic and behavior analytic assessments
• Work with service providers, home base providers, parents and the multidisciplinary team
