Job Description: SUNY Orange's Continuing and Professional Education unit (CAPE) is seeking part-time Spanish High School Equivalency Teachers (GED) for the Adult GED Program starting in the Fall semester (late August).We have openings in our morning and evening sections on our Middletown and Newburgh campuses.The Spanish GED teacher will teach four subjects: ELA, Science, Math and Social Studies in Spanish, to prepare students for the GED test.Requirements: Required: Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of experience teaching secondary or post-secondary subjects to at-risk youth and adults. Fluency in Spanish Preferred: Academic teaching certification with prior secondary or GED teaching experience and excellent teaching skills.
