POSITION PURPOSE:

We are seeking a friendly and attentive individual to join our spa team as a Spa Attendant. The Spa Attendant plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for our guests. This position involves assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the spa facility and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in procedures, including completing necessary paperwork and explaining spa services and amenities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spa facility, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, relaxation areas, and common areas.
  • Stock and replenish towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, and other amenities in locker rooms and treatment rooms as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain spa supplies, including linens, beverages, and retail products, always ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Assist spa therapists and technicians with preparing treatment rooms for appointments, including setting up equipment and amenities according to service requirements.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and aid as needed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing accurate information and resolving issues to the best of your ability.
  • Assist with scheduling spa appointments, confirming reservations, and coordinating with therapists and technicians to ensure smooth appointment transitions.
  • Promote spa services, packages, and retail products to guests, offering recommendations based on their preferences and needs.
  • Adhere to all spa policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, confidentiality guidelines, and customer service standards.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPIERENCE AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality, customer service, or spa management preferred.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a spa, hospitality, or wellness environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of spa services, treatments, and amenities preferred, with a passion for wellness and relaxation.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including knowledge of scheduling software and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and integrity.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Endurance to withstand long hours of standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
  • Lift and carry objects, weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks.
  • Adherence to proper lifting techniques and ergonomics to prevent strain or injury while performing job duties.
