SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the direction and management for all solar projects. The ideal candidate will manage client expectations, documentation and compliance, budget, schedules, cash projections, and quality. They will also be the primary point of contact for the owner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage budget and schedule from development to operation
- Project financial documentation including forecasting, owner billing, subcontractor billing, change management, backup documentation
- Client interface and relations
- Weekly owner meetings
- Local and Federal regulatory compliance
- Prepare bid packages, procure materials and services to complete projects in a timely manner
- Communicate with Director of Construction for scheduled goals and adjustments
- Organize electronic file storage for design team submittals, RFI's, drawings, change orders, billing, and all other correspondence
- Supervise and mentor all superintendents
- Coordinate Construction Completion Walkdowns, complete handover of start-up packages to Startup Manager, supervise close-outs
- Ensure adherence to OSHA Safety Standards, Quality, Ethical Standards, and Lessons Learned policies
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering required
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, or related certification
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- 5+ years experience in Solar Project Management
