As the Software Product Development Manager, you will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of our company's homegrown pricing system. This software will empower the pricing team to work more efficiently in the execution of our pricing strategies that optimize profitability and competitiveness. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications for the internal pricing system. Design, develop, and maintain the pricing system, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security standards. Implement features and functionalities that support product line/category specific pricing strategies. Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the pricing system, considering the diverse needs of end-users. Gather user feedback and iterate on UI/UX designs to improve the overall usability of the system. Conduct rigorous testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the system's reliability and accuracy. Create comprehensive documentation for the pricing system, including user guides and technical documentation. Provide training and support to internal users, ensuring they can effectively use the system. Stay updated on industry trends and software development best practices. Identify opportunities for system enhancements, scalability improvements, and cost optimization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of pricing strategies and methodologies is advantageous. Experience with data integration, analytics, and modeling. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools.
