Job Description Overview:

As a Software Developer for the Educator Certification Online System (ECOS), you'll play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the certification process for Texas educators. Collaborating closely with the ECOS development manager, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex modules within ECOS and its Accountability System for Ed Prep Programs (ASEP) .Net subsystem. Your expertise will be key in implementing software modifications, automating unit test cases, and migrating outdated code from Classic ASP to .Net and .Net Core. Additionally, you'll spearhead the development of new features, such as the Residency Preparation Program route and certificate, using .Net and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

Design complex modules for ECOS and its ASEP .Net subsystem.

Develop software modifications and enhancements, including automated unit test cases.

Create an action plan to migrate outdated code from Classic ASP to .Net and .Net Core.

Develop new Residency Preparation Program route and certificate in ECOS using .Net and SQL Server.

Candidate Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years of experience with Microsoft .NET and .NET Core.
• 5 years of experience with SQL Server 2019.
• 5 years of experience designing and writing code for customer systems.
• 5 years of experience analyzing technical requirements and developing effective solutions.
• 1 year of experience with Accountability Application.
• 1 year of experience with Licensing Application.

Terms of Service:

Services are expected to commence on 05/01/2024 and conclude by 08/31/2024.
