Job Description:
- OMH (Office of Mental Health) provides mental health services to forensic patients. Candidate will be required to submit of TB testing and recent flu shot. Will have contact with incarcerated individuals. Candidate will be also subject to CNYPC orientation.
- Position is 40 hours/week(M-F). Exact shift/hours to be discussed during interview.
- Contract staff would mainly be working weekdays and assisting in providing therapeutic services to patients in a primary therapist role to include individual therapy and the completion of mental health assessments and documentation (Core History, Suicide Assessments/risk assessments, Weekly/Monthly Progress Notes, Treatment Plans, Discharge Plans), according to policy and procedure. Group facilitation may also be indicated.
- Positions initially for 6 months, with the agency reserving the right to renew for up to two years.
