We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking for a Network Validation Engineer who is experienced in working with networking products like InfiniBand and Ethernet and who enjoys working with engineering, product management, and technical staff to develop debugging tools, test plans, and automation plans.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):Perform switch, ethernet cards, infiniband switch and HBAs validations. Conduct functionality testing, compatibility testing, performance testing, stress and reliability testingReport hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systemsDocument and analyze test dataMaintain and improve validation test plans and test instructionsContribute in the development of test utilities and test script automationSupport internal and external quality issues and drive to issue resolutionQualifications:BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 3+ years of working knowledge in hardware/networking field is strongly desirableCCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications a plus.Strong knowledge of computer networking, TCP/IP, L2/L3, SDN, OPA, InfiniBand, etc.Familiar with Linux, Windows, and networkingStrong in python, and bash scriptingPower shell scripting is a plusStrong sense of team work and a good team player, strong communication skillsKnowledge and experience of server performance benchmarks and tuning is a plusSalary Range$89,000 - $131,000 The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
