Social Media Summer Intern (Full Time) - Must be in NYC

Dormify is a revolutionary new way that college students can bring style to their lives at school and beyond. We bring small space style solutions to students, and bridge their lifestyle touchpoints at school to fit with their personal fashion sense. And we want you to help us do this! Dormify is looking for a passionate college student to intern with us, with a focus on social media and marketing. Were looking for someone who is an expert on Instagram/TikTok/ Pinterest, loves influencers and has ideas about who we should be working with, and can write a great caption. Video editing skills and photoshop skills would be a major plus!

You would wear many hats, but specific tasks might include:

• Creating and editing content for social media channels including, but not limited to, Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and Youtube
• BIG focus on video content creation
• Brainstorming new content ideas to increase engagement across social channels
• Tracking social media metrics and analytics
• Assisting with outreach and new customer acquisition
• Utilizing platform tools such as FourSixty and Tailwind to merchandise social content

Youre awesome in general, and you:

• Are passionate about your work, and take pride in excelling at what you do.
• Know how to take a great video and photo.
• Think punctuality and attention to detail are both important.
• Are collaborative and work well with other teammates (but can work alone when necessary).
• Are comfortable working in a fast paced environment.

Well like you even more if you:

• Dream of going viral - no time for embarrassment
• Can write a great pun/pop culture reference
• Have a basic knowledge of video editing
• Take initiative we know that the best work comes from doing what you love

Necessary Skills:

• Strong understanding of social media (particularly TikTok) trends
• Comfort in creating a variety of video content, from fast TikTok trends to longer form educational content
• Knowledge and interest in video editing
• Ability to work thoroughly under a time crunch - weve got to jump on trends FAST!
• Impeccable written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
