ABECO Construction is seeking a construction site superintendent to oversee a large scale commercial project with high end finishes.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site, Site Superintendent role located in New York, NY. The Site Superintendent will oversee all daily operations at a construction site, ensuring the project is completed within budget and on time. Key responsibilities include supervising all on-site activities, managing staff, subcontractors, and contractors, planning and scheduling work activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining a safe work environment, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or another relevant field, or relevant experience in construction management
• 10 or more years of experience in construction , including at least 5 years of experience as a superintendent
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ProCore
• Excellent knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Strong safety record and knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
• NYC Site Supers License a plus
