Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Visual Designer to join our team in NYC. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that incorporate photography, imagery, packaging design, and digital and print graphic design. Your role will involve understanding the US market and consumer preferences to create visual content that resonates with our target audience. Experience in video production is a plus. If you have a passion for the food and beverage industry, it's an added advantage. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual who can manage multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop visually captivating designs across various mediums, including digital and print, incorporating photography, imagery, packaging design, and graphic elements.
2. Blend different cultural backgrounds and aesthetic trends to create promotional materials that resonate with the target audience, ensuring their effectiveness in the international market.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, branding, and product, to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with our brand identity and objectives.
4. Utilize your photography skills to capture high-quality images that enhance our visual content.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high-quality standards.
6. Stay up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and market insights relevant to the US market.
7. Maintain brand consistency by adhering to established brand guidelines and visual standards.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
2. Proven work experience as a Visual Designer, with a focus on photography, imagery, packaging design, and digital and print graphic design.
3. Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in creating visually compelling designs for the US market.
4. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), with a deep understanding of design principles and techniques.
5. Excellent photography skills, including composition, lighting, and post-processing.
6. Experience and knowledge in video production, including video editing and motion graphics, is a plus.
7. Strong understanding of the US market and consumer preferences, particularly in the food and beverage industry.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality designs on time.
9. Motivated and self-driven, with a passion for creating visually appealing and impactful designs.
10.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts to stakeholders.
