Job Description:

Our client, a leading PR/Communications firm dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to Fortune 500 clients is a looking for a Senior Visual Designer with a strong focus on creative strategy and creative excellence. You will be working in tandem with our internal creative agency and clients to play a pivotal role in shaping brand identity and communication efforts. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, possess exceptional creative skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment. As a Senior Visual Designer, you will work closely with our creative team and the financial services group to develop compelling visual solutions that align with our brand objectives and resonate with our target audience. This position will be hybrid and based out of the New York office.

  • Salary: $90,000-120,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the internal creative agency and the financial services group to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
  • Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs across various mediums, including print, digital, and multimedia, that effectively communicate key messages and enhance brand identity.
  • Develop high-level design concepts, mockups, and prototypes for a wide range of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, websites, mobile apps, advertisements, and social media assets.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines in all design deliverables, while also pushing creative boundaries to innovate and differentiate our brand in the marketplace.
  • Lead design projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, priorities, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with copywriters, marketers, and other stakeholders to integrate visual elements seamlessly into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in design, and proactively incorporate new ideas and techniques into our creative process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across different mediums and industries.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and other design tools. Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is desirable.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and composition.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for design innovation, continuous learning, and pushing creative boundaries to achieve exceptional results.
