OverviewChameleon Communications International, Inc.Job Title: Senior Vice President, Strategy & InnovationDuties: Creates and maintains the yearly innovation plan and leads Chameleon US innovation team meetings. Conducts a once-yearly market research exercise of our clients and key customers; this may include HCP surveys and 1 on 1 interviews with key pharmaceutical clients, with the aim of identifying trends in medical communications and producing a report that highlights patterns and changes and includes insights for Chameleon. Develops recommendations for new products and services based on data such as the above survey, interactions with industry trends and observations. Liaises with HCG teams to develop external thought leadership opportunities. Supports the new business lead in pitches/proposals as required. Trains and develops the Chameleon US team to better prepare, present, and win new business opportunities. Attends relevant pharmaceutical industry meetings, including, but not limited to, BIO International Convention, Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS), Reuters Events Pharma, and International Society for Medical Publications Professionals (ISMPP) to understand the business environment, potential growth opportunities, and future trends. Periodically attends relevant medical congresses (for example, American Academy of Neurology [AAN] Annual Meeting, American Society of Hematology [ASH] Annual Meeting, etc.) to prospect new business opportunities, initiate contact with key prospects, and stay abreast of advances in key therapeutic areas.Requirements: Master s degree in Neuroscience, Biology, or related biosciences field and 4 years of experience in the offered position or in a medical director role for a medical communications agency or Ph.D. degree in in Neuroscience, Biology, or related biosciences field and 1 year of experience in the offered position or in a medical director role for a medical communications agency. All of the required experience must have included: leading strategy, content development and delivery of tactics across diverse therapeutic areas for multiple accounts, including experience supporting clients from both Medical Affairs departments as well as Marketing departments, using expertise in medical communications strategy, tactics, publication planning, and trends in the industry; experience in a senior scientific director role in at least 3 of the following therapeutic categories: hematology/oncology, neurology, rare disease, rheumatology, infectious diseases/vaccines, immunology, cardiovascular disease, or internal medicine; leading business pitches with cross-functional teams that resulted in at least $1 million in new business; developing new business by proactively identifying and targeting appropriate new business opportunities, and developing and selling innovative tactics to existing pharmaceutical industry clients. Salary: $180,000/year. 9AM-6PM, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
