Commercial Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is looking for a permanent Underwriter to join their growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite business loan requests of all sizes utilizing business and personal financial information.
- Perform annual financial and collateral review process for commercial credit relationships.
- Coordinate and oversee efforts to collect all necessary financial information, maintaining a master schedule for all required loan reviews within the portfolio.
- Prepare Commercial Loans Problem Watch List and provide recommendations for Loan Loss Allowances for impaired credits.
- Attend all loan committee meetings and prepare and maintain loan committee minutes.
- Assist loan officers in monitoring past due loans, non-accruals, and maturing loans.
Requirements:
- 2-6 years experience in commercial credit and underwriting within the Commercial Banking space.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
- Previous CRE experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree
