Senior Software Engineer - Backend & Machine Learning
AI-E-Commerce platform who have just secured further funding are looking to expand the team with a Senior Backend Engineer on a fulltime basis at their HQ in NYC.
Here you will lead the development backend systems for their e-commerce platform, overseeing tasks such as:
- Building scalable systems for product data ingestion from 60+ partners daily.
- Integrating and evaluating third-party machine learning solutions.
- Implementing GCP tools for enhanced application architecture.
- Ensuring seamless integration between backend services and user-facing features.
- Promoting best practices and fostering engineering excellence.
- Collaborating with various teams, including leadership, machine learning, and frontend development.
Requirements:
- 4+ years professional experience as Software Engineer using Python and/or Node.JS.
- Experience working at an early-stage start-up and contributing to the build and launch of a product.
- Proficiency in designing, building, and refining web APIs and data processing pipelines.
- Experience working with Cloud (GCP, AWS ).

Salary: $160-200K + Equity
