Summary:

The Senior Sales Ambassador operates as the primary account management contact with their respective customer accounts. This role promotes company products and services to prospective and existing clients. It is the duty of the Senior Sales Ambassador to drive customer loyalty and business retention. This position requires the ability to implement sales strategy initiatives and drive outstanding business results across their designated region. The Senior Sales Ambassador role models MISA s sales culture building blocks.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes sales and education of Diverse wine portfolio to on-premise and off-premise accounts
  • Maintains deep knowledge of MISA products and accounts
  • Executes sales and education from a diverse wine experience
  • Bolsters & Builds on existing Customer relationships
  • Commits to continuous learning in the areas of Wine & Sales
  • Expands account base quarterly in accordance with MISA NY NJ needs
  • Handles suppliers visit by providing a calendar of visits to the appropriate accounts and makes sure to provide this information to the supplier visiting 1 week ahead of time.
  • Explores new opportunities weekly allowing for MISA s market expansion
  • Discovers and identifies customer business growth needs
  • Develops and tailors a business growth plan for each customer
  • Completes inventory management
  • Handles Sales Order Management
  • Forecasts customer product needs
  • Performs product procurement and fulfillment
  • Supports onboarding of new team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of leadership sales experience
  • Experience in Wine and Spirits
  • Expert sales and negotiation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to foster positive relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to consistently set goals and objectives
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
