Job Description **Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):**

Bachelors degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in neuroscience, biological science or a related field. Two (2) years of full-time research/laboratory experience in handling and working with rodents. **Preferred Qualifications:**

Masters degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in neuroscience, biological science or a related field. Three (3) years of full-time working experience in handling and working with rodents (preferentially rats). At least one (1) year of full-time experience in performing and developing cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques, mouse and rat handling, protein evaluation (western blotting) and biochemical assays (flourogenic enzymatic, bioluminescent and fluorescent polarization assays). Experience with cell cultures, molecular and cell biology techniques, protein, and gene expression evaluation. Expertise in stereotaxic techniques, intracranial, intracardial, intravenous, intraperitoneal and subcutaneous injections. **Essential Position:** This has been designated as an essential position based on the duties of the job and the functions performed.
