Senior Quant Trader - ETFs
A global trading firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Trader to join their world-class team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing trading strategies in the ETFs market. You will collaborate with top academic minds in research and engineering to continually improve existing strategies and stay at the forefront of trading advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize strategies to take risks in ETF markets.
- Collaborate with the best academic minds in research and engineering to continually improve existing strategies and develop new ones.
- Manage risk effectively to optimize trading performance.
- Investigate and implement new trading products and strategies.
- Mentor junior traders and provide leadership.
- Work with analysts and researchers to integrate their findings into strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Strong experience in either systematic or discretionary trading with a focus on Index or Fixed Income ETFs.
- Proven track record of positive P&L.
- Healthy appetite for risk and the ability to manage risk effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Python, R or MATLAB.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
