Altrata is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support our Wealth products and mature the Product Management Organization (PMO). The position will be responsible for the day-to-day project management requirements of the large project, whilst working other key stakeholders to assess the needs and gaps in the current PMO, identify, and implement recommendations. This position will work in the Product Management organization and interests in product management discipline is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a coordinated set of plans and programs to drive delivery of projects, working with stakeholders at a range of levels on strategic and tactical planning across the Technology (development and other), Product, Data, and Commercial organizations.
- Primary ongoing responsibility is for management of projects. Focuses on driving and meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders, etc.
- Risk, issue, assumption, dependency and decision identification, escalation, and mitigation
- Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery.
- Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management. Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes.
- Assessing existing PMO practices on the project, identifying changes to the Target Operating Model
Key Requirements:
- Understanding of agile and scaled agile methodology, and associated tools (e.g. Jira)
- Ability to communicate, influence, and drive teams across disciplines to action
- Strong pragmatic approach to the role of the PMO, and the ability to balance best practice with the needs of a fast pace, execution focussed organization
- Experience delivering large projects
- Experience delivering and implementing target operating models for PMO functions
- Experience working with Technology (including development teams), Product, Data and Commercial organizations
- Strong communication skills, and an ability to communicate up, down and across an organization
- Ability to support main stakeholders in the US/EST time zone and flexibility to support stakeholders in Asia and Europe
