Role Overview:

As a Senior Product Manager for the data platform team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform and analytics products. You will work closely with engineering, UX design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to understand customer needs, prioritize features, and launch innovative solutions that solve real world problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data platform, analytics, and AI products.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, user feedback, and data analysis to identify opportunities and validate hypotheses.
  • Write clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage the product roadmap and prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.
  • Measure and report on product performance, user adoption, feedback, and satisfaction.
  • Evangelize our products internally and externally through demos, webinars, blogs, white papers, etc.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in the relevant communities by sharing your insights and expertise on a regular basis.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience as a product manager working on enterprise software, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience with data platforms and analytic architectures and technologies such as ETL/ELT, data lake/warehousing, streaming data, real-time analytics, IoT
  • Experience with big data concepts such as data lakes, map-reduce/spark, machine learning, and real time data management systems.
  • Pragmatic understanding of big data/analytics applications and distributed system optimization.
  • A BS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A strong technical background and ability to communicate effectively with engineers and architects.
  • A customer-centric mindset and a passion for solving complex problems with elegant solutions.
  • A data-driven approach to decision making and product development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
