Underwriters work with Sixfold to improve their capacity, accuracy, and speed. Sixfold can identify the risks in submissions, prior losses, external data lookups, and more. Sixfold solves the front-door problem faced by many carriers, allowing them to more quickly evaluate and rate all submissions, prioritizing the best risks.

We re building the AI for insurance underwriters. As generative AI is being used to tackle all types of use cases, insurance has a unique set of challenges. We re serving a core business function that protects everything from a small business to a large trucking fleet. Our team is made of former founders and operators with experience in insurance, enterprise B2B, eCommerce, and consumer products.

We are seeking a technical generalist Product Manager who thrives in managing complex product challenges and crafting end-to-end commercial strategies. We have incredible product-market fit and strong demand across customers, and as an early member of the product team you ll drive key decisions to scale it further.

What you ll do:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Lead product initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  • User-Centric Design: Gather and synthesize user insights into actionable product requirements, user stories, and product specifications
  • Market Expertise: Deeply understand the Insurance and AI landscapes, ensuring we have an objective view of market capabilities and how to make LLMs useful for complex knowledge work
  • Adaptability: Drive clarity while operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • Innovation and Commercial Strategy: Define business models, pricing packages, & other commercial standards.

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in product management and/or software engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and align stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of launching successful zero-to-one products with notable commercial impact.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in product planning, opportunity identification, and decision-making based on business impact.
  • Proficient in A/B testing, KPI definition, and leveraging data analytics for product decisions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity to deliver on outcomes
  • Dedicated team player with a passion for contributing to team success and supporting across function whether that s testing new algorithm changes, providing customer support, or cleaning up tickets
