I'm on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Medical Writer to my client, a boutique healthcare advertising agency dedicated to shaping the future of healthcare communication. This role has been born out of some fantastic growth for the team and comes with huge promotional opportunity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Craft compelling and scientifically accurate content across a variety of mediums, including digital, print, and multimedia platforms, to engage healthcare professionals and patients alike.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and medical strategy, to develop innovative and impactful communication solutions that drive results.
- Interpret and distill complex scientific information into clear, concise, and engaging messaging that resonates with target audiences and meets regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance and insights on medical content, therapeutic areas, and industry trends to inform creative and strategic decision-making.
- Ensure all content adheres to internal quality standards, industry guidelines, and client specifications, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Role Requirements:
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) in life sciences or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a medical writer within the healthcare advertising or pharmaceutical industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your writing prowess and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in translating complex scientific concepts into engaging and persuasive content for diverse audiences, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing healthcare advertising, including FDA guidelines, is a plus.
