Are you an experienced Marine Claims Executive with an interest in Shipping/Marine law? Perhaps, you have a previous legal background and have since moved into the marine insurance market.
A major name in the marine/P&I Insurance market have a highly paid role available in New York as they are seeking a highly specialist marine claims executive, an individual with expertise across Cargo, P&I and Personal Injury claims.
You will have exposure to Reinsurers and have the opportunity to handle an array of complex marine claims, as well as get involved in defense work (this is where your legal background could become handy).
You will utilise your knowledge and 'consultative' style approach to support your clients through their claims journey, we well as appoint a variety of 3rd-party service providers such as Consultants, Lawyers and Surveyors when and where appropriate.
On offer is a salary up to $175,000 plus package plus benefits. You will have the opportunity to work from home 3 days per week
We are specifically looking to engage with individuals from a Marine Claims Broking background, this could be from a Broker, Insurer, P&I Club or Law Firm.
