POSITION: SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Fully onsite position, not hybrid/remote)

LOCATED IN WESTERN/UPSTATE NEW YORK

High speed fully automated CPG/FOOD/PKG manufacturing plant (processing & packaging)

$90-105k Base salary, plus bonus

YOUR ROLE

  • Executes engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
  • Analyze existing processes to develop, implement and monitor measures to improve productivity/efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Become a technical expert in plant engineering technologies to facilitate knowledge transfer and apply best practices
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions
  • Participate in cross-functional engineering projects, to include industrial, mechanical, project based, processing, packaging, and continuous improvement engineering
  • Part of the project teams for investments and support from a process perspective
  • Responsible for collaborating/facilitating company product technologies on processing and packaging equipment
  • Facilitate continuous improvement, lean, operational excellence within engineering
  • Set up manufacturing processes with input from R & D, Reliability, Productions, etc.
  • Provide process troubleshooting and optimization

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor s Degree or higher in Engineering
  • 2-5 years as a Manufacturing Engineering within a progressive, high speed CPG Manufacturing plant
  • 2-5+ years Industrial Engineering, Production & Manufacturing engineering within related high volume industrial manufacturing industry (Food, CPG, related)
  • Strong background in Continuous improvement, Lean initiatives within manufacturing
  • Track record of successfully managing mid to large scale projects
  • Solid background in Process Engineering, R&D engineering, Quality, and Industrial Eng.
  • Prefer experience out of a Fortune 500 CPG Mfg company (Unilever, P&G, J&J, Nestle, etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Must have green card or US Citizen
  • Must be willing to work full time onsite at the plant location
  • Track record of job stability
