**Senior Manager, Supply Chain Inventory Management**
Location Troy, New York, United States of America Category Industrial Operations and Product Supply Job Id R8521 JOB DESCRIPTION The Supply Logistics Department is hiring The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Inventory Management functions as part of the Inventory Management leadership team by determining material resources needed to meet IOPS requirements. In partnership with Global Sourcing, lead discussions with suppliers and service providers for direct and indirect materials as well as any service providers as appropriate. They are responsible for operations involving Material and Component Planning, Materials Logistics, and Inventory Management in a cGMP environment.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
* Manages Raw Materials and Component inventory to ensure maximum up-time of manufacturing within IOS and amongst CMO and other partners.
* Develops, executes and reviews the planning strategy for material used in production and support at IOPS or Contract Manufacturing sites.
* Communicates material forecast information from production and support demand to suppliers to ensure supply availability.
* Works closely with cross functional team to align with the companys overall objectives, timelines and to ensure organization is prepared for future regulatory compliance.
* Maintains awareness of current industry standards, trends and practices.
* Builds a top performing operational team, instilling a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Provides coaching to direct reports, including employee development plans, and fosters a healthy work environment where employees feel valued and respected.
* Participates in the development of the Logistics strategy for the site and associated 3PLs to deliver best in class material replenishment systems.
* Develops, implements and delivers KPIs to Best in Class performance which are aligned to Global Supply Chain Strategy and IOPS Goals.
* Prepares reports for senior management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data for various key performance indicators.
* Promotes the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.
* Embraces and promotes the Regeneron Way.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Requires travel approximately 10% of the time.
**Education and Experience:**
* Senior Manager: Requires Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Science background and 8 years of relevant experience in a cGMP environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience a plus.
* APICS or other related Supply Chain certifications a plus.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
* Previous experience in planning, drug development, performance metrics and project management.
* Ability to manage multiple, complex projects, changing priorities, make sound business decisions and work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent time management, organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team and supervise and coach staff.
* Experience with interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and disciplinary actions.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate details clearly and effectively.
* Attention to detail, fact-based, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
* Strong working knowledge of supply chain management at both the development stage for clinical supplies as well as at the commercial stage preferred.
* Lean/Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
