We seek an adept Senior Java Engineer to oversee a critical revenue generating platform for our global media client. The core focus will be on backend development and integration of an integral CMS.
Responsibilities include architecting scalable solutions, mentoring engineers, designing APIs, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance, and contributing to strategic planning.
Qualifications entail expertise in Core Java, database management, RESTful API development, server-side templating, version control, and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a proficiency in cloud, data and social media integration, containerization, and backend optimization.
Strong communication skills, agile project management experience, and familiarity with DevOps practices are essential. This is a hands-on: IC role who will advise and lead others, perform design and code reviews, and control technical debt.
Hybrid 2 days in NYC, 3 days remote.
