A Global Asset Management company is actively seeking an experienced Attorney to join their Legal team. You will play a lead role in various matters such as fund formation and maintenance, regulatory compliance, negotiating with investors, and more. This Senior Counsel will have a high level of visibility as it involves collaboration with senior business partners across the firm. Responsibilities:
- Play a lead role in the formation, structuring, and maintenance of various funds and investment products
- Ensure compliance with various SEC and FINRA regulations including Investment Advisers and Investment Company Acts of 1940, conduct regulatory examinations, file Form ADV, etc.
- Draft and amend wrap-fee advisory program agreements
- Remain updated on developments within the regulatory landscape and advise senior management accordingly
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of Legal experience within the Investment Advisory/Asset Management space.
- JD or equivalent an accredited university
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to both work independently and collaborate with others
- Experience with wrap-fee advisory programs is a significant plus
