Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly collaborative, action-oriented Program Manager to join the HR Operations and Total Rewards function at UNIQLO supporting all Fast Retailing business units across North America.

This Senior HR Operations Program Manager will be responsible for leading projects, work streams, and critical routine initiatives focused on HR transformation, operational enhancements, and technology improvements. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective program delivery, requiring the ability to move with speed and balance between presenting to senior leadership while also diving into the details of project plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead program management and implementation plans for business critical initiatives within the HR Operations and Total Rewards function, including but not limited to:
  • HR transformation work focused on redefining the HR service delivery model
  • Implementing new global and local systems and processes
  • Comprehensive review, due diligence, and coordination of business unit and market expansion
  • Project manage key initiatives critical to the ongoing Benefits strategy
  • Establish and lead the deployment of the company s annual salary benchmarking and salary structure review
  • Facilitate ongoing contract schedule management, review, and approvals
  • Process/Policy documentation as needed
  • Program Management Responsibilities include:
  • Establish a project management infrastructure, playbooks, and templates to promote standardized, high quality delivery while driving self sufficiency within the team, scaling impact through others
  • Coordinate and collaborate with HR and cross-functional team members in multiple business units and locations to plan and execute initiatives and projects of all sized, often managing multiple projects at a time
  • Gather and compile information regarding scope, timeline, tasks and dependencies to develop detailed project plans
  • Ensure decisions, open items, risks, options and recommendations are documented
  • Support and facilitate meetings and written program/project updates with key internal project team members, business stakeholders and leadership through creation of emails, decks, and status slides
  • Prepare project/workstream meeting agendas, document meeting outcomes and next steps. Ensure next steps are actioned, following up with key stakeholders, as needed
  • Identify risks/issues that impact the execution and success of projects (e.g., resource availability, functional discrepancies, testing errors, etc.). Develop options and solutions for complex problems, and escalate as appropriate for resolution/mitigation
  • Conduct analysis on business topics, project data/statistics and progress, systems impacts and other key challenges, as needed
  • Utilize tools, such as Excel or Google Sheets, to develop spreadsheets, gather and update data from stakeholders, utilize data filters, create pivot tables, format and analyze large amounts of data
  • Support key HR team members on various engagements, including ad-hoc analyses, presentations, and special projects
  • Collaborate with other departments and project stakeholders, including Senior Management, HR functional areas, IT, Finance, Payroll, Legal and outside third-party vendors
  • Advise on stakeholder analysis, change management plans and execution
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed, including logistics for meetings and workshops
  • Other duties assigned by manager
  • Frequent in-person collaboration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing projects and/or in HR/ITHR
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, even under tight timelines
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem solving skills
  • Achievement and results oriented
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to engage and contribute in a collaborative working environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment with competing priorities
  • Financial ability to manage budget and cost-effective programs

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in a large scale, hyper-matrixed, global organization
  • Previous consulting experience
  • PMP certification
  • Experience leading programs/projects for an HR department
  • Knowledge of the HR operations, tools, and technologies across Core HR, Compensation and Benefits, Talent Acquisitions, etc.

Salary: $130,000 - $145,000*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
