Role Responsibilities - Senior Grant Accountant
- Maintain portfolio of grants
- Review financial reports and invoices prepared by the Grant Accountant
- Ensure timely and accurate submission to government funders and private foundations
- Prepare monthly journal entries to accrue grant revenue and expenses
- Collaborate internally with Program, Legal, and Development staff on various grants management functions
- Assist the Director of Budgets and Grants Management in the preparation of the annual budget, projections, etc
- Analyze the actual revenue and expenses incurred versus the budget for the period
Preferred Qualifications - Senior Grant Accountant
- BA degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of grant experience
- Experience with MIP is a huge plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
