Senior Frontend Engineer/Developer - React, Typescript, Node, Javascript, Babel
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Senior Front End Engineer within a prominent team that is shaping the future of the rental industry. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the backend engineering and product teams to contribute to the development of user-facing features across a React web app and a React Native mobile app.
Responsibilities include crafting efficient, testable code, identifying areas for refactoring and feature enhancement, coordinating with QA for testing new features, writing unit and integration tests, and collaborating with the backend team to establish API requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Identify and implement opportunities for refactoring and improving feature robustness.
- Collaborate with QA to test new features thoroughly.
- Assume responsibility for crafting unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate closely with the backend team to define API requirements.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of proven experience in software development.
- Hands-on expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node & Babel.
- Strong UX design skills, along with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in optimizing code and asset delivery to browsers or devices.
- Clear articulation of the advantages and challenges of using front-end libraries, frameworks, and toolsets.
- Ability to produce code that is easily testable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with a collaborative team-player approach.
- Familiarity with startup environments is a valuable asset.
