Senior Director, Social

As a Senior Director, you will oversees the strategic planning and complete implementation across paid social initiatives. The position handles client stewardship and is responsible for all aspects of campaign success. Sr. Director works with all the different media disciplines to determine the role of social in the overall media campaigns. Sr. Director must have deep paid social experience as well as multichannel expertise with excellent client management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly strategic and innovative paid social strategy recommendations that align with campaign and business objectives
  • Lead client relationship for all aspects of paid social ensuring trust in agency and team to drive data-driven results
  • Define and implement best practices across the teams
  • Help define the role of social in overall media campaigns (audience planning, optimizations, measurement, etc.) with other media teams
  • Oversee partner JBPs to ensure partners are meeting clients goals
  • Establish and maintain a management framework that allows for visibility into team performance against client goals and objectives
  • Leads innovation and vision-- new products and enhancements and help identify and test new channels and products, highlighting results and sharing across organization and externally
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting industry/market research findings, social trends, benchmarking and other pertinent information
  • Drive and develop optimal performance strategy for clients
  • Actively drive long-range strategic planning for client
  • Allocate resources to allow for both meeting the client's current needs but also investing and focusing efforts for future growth
  • Establish and grow senior relationships with clients

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a complex, technical product environment, including at least five years of management experience
  • In-depth understanding of social media campaign management and optimization practices
  • Expert knowledge of relevant search and social platforms
  • Be a proactive self-starter with experience leading large accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion (collaboration, data sharing, co-leading efforts focused on client satisfaction, growth, performance vs KPI s)
  • Strong management skills
  • Desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
  • Polished presentation, communication, and analytical skill
  • Prepared to meet and exceed revenue goals and quotas
  • Outstanding ability to build partnerships and manage and develop a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of stress tolerance
  • Ability to thrive in start-up environment with high client demands
  • Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view
  • Trusted advisor to senior client and be seen as a vital part of their team; represent the voice of the client within Hearts
  • Highly analytical and creative mind in strong communication skills with experience in building and managing a team through a use of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relations including handling difficult client situations to optimal results for both the client and the company

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
