This role will partner with clients to lead sales, revenue and profit planning. The ever-changing Commerce landscape is evolving at a pace that demands that you must possess adaptability, quick-thinking, and a thirst for rapid-fire learning. Night Market is at the forefront of defining what (and how) our clients need to succeed and innovate across all facets of commerce, and this individual will be instrumental in supporting and driving the promotion of that mission.The Night Market Senior Director of Retail Marketplace Channel Management will be responsible for leading the management of Retail Marketplace (Amazon, etc.) campaigns and merchandising and logistical operations across Night Market's Client List. This role will report directly into the VP Commerce Media and will lead the day-to-day Amazon Services on existing clients as well as play an active role in new business pitches when the need arises. They should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering best-in-class work across Amazon Advertising and Seller Programs as well as possess deep knowledge of other predominant Retail Marketplaces such as Walmart, Target, etc.What You'll Do:
  • Work closely with the Associate Director to oversee a team of subject matter experts across advertising, merchandising, and catalog management across Retail Marketplace Accounts within Night Market
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to build company materials: e.g. website, introduction deck, one-sheeters etc.
  • Provide POV on approach and strategy for new business and client growth efforts
  • Monitor trends, tools, opportunities, and applications within digital environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge to campaign strategy and client goals
  • Collaborate with VP Commerce Media to build case histories, best practices, white papers
Who You Are: You will be independent and resourceful in building/nurturing purposeful relationships with various senior leadership at Night Market and Horizon Media. You will need to have a thorough understanding of Amazon digital metrics and media strategies, as well as a track record of successfully building Amazon Seller programs for clients, experience with other retail marketplace management is a bonus. A strong business acumen and superior client service skills are a must.
  • The candidate will need to possess a deep understanding of the Amazon Advertising Platform, inclusive of their DSP offerings, as well as other Retail Marketplaces
  • Deep Understanding the costs implications of shipping, warehousing, returns, etc. Building the business plan (excel) to deliver a successful business on Amazon. Less media / advertising.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling marketing campaigns from concept to completion for both endemic and non-endemic campaigns
  • Experience building and optimizing both display and search campaigns
  • This candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment, have meticulous attention to detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • This candidate must have experience managing a team of specialists across advertising, merchandising, and catalog management
  • This individual needs to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, juggle multiple priorities, and navigate and partner with a large set of internal and external stakeholders
