Who are we looking for?The
Senior Cybersecurity Consultant / Engineer is responsible for execution of GHD Digital Cybersecurity Strategy in key areas of focus and provide expertise in the delivery of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity engineering services and solutions that are important to our clients. In this opportunity you will act as a trusted advisor and provide advice to clients and internal GHD practices on cybersecurity engineering solutions and services, including its project delivery and technical excellence! This role can sit at most GHD offices throughout Canada or US.This position will be an integral part of GHD's Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity team working closely with our Advanced Automation team, with a focus on providing OT cybersecurity design support for GHD's core engineering services in the water/wastewater, energy, transportation, and building sectors.This position requires the need to understand how to apply industry standard assessment methodologies, assist clients in establishing governance policies, determine and establish OT cybersecurity design requirements, and develop OT cybersecurity design documentation. Working with an energetic and hard-working team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: - Multi-disciplined engineering design groups, serving as the core project engineering team OT cybersecurity consultant to facilitate reliable, safe, and secure network and system designs with consideration given to project constraints: Risk, cost, schedule, resources, capabilities, regulations, and industry cybersecurity standards.
- Project scope development, project fee development, and project risk reviews.
- Assisting clients and associated engineering group leaders in identifying the types and nature of potential OT cybersecurity risks and threats equipment selection as it relates to OT cybersecurity.
- Providing client consulting assistance to include master planning in conformance with standards, policies, procedures, and directives relevant to the owner/client. Work with clients to develop governance policies necessary to mitigate vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
- Developing system design and specification documentation deliverables to address OT cybersecurity vulnerabilities including identifying physical controls to mitigate vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
- Project meetings and coordinate deliverables with clients, multi-discipline engineering teams, and system integrators.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of cybersecurity standards and framework to include ISA-62443, NIST-800, ISO 27001, and other standards as required.
- Develop and provide internal and external training/mentorship on cybersecurity topics.
- Providing post project design validation reviews to confirm conformance with the established OT cybersecurity needs.
- Leading, managing, and review GHD cybersecurity/engineering deliverables in the project delivery of cross sector OT cybersecurity services.
- Leading sophisticated cybersecurity and risk consulting client engagements to successful completion including cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance reviews.
- Developing and delivering specialized Digital Cybersecurity services and solutions, including penetration testing and other assurance services
- Delivery of project that review, recommend, and implement technical cybersecurity controls, architectures and technologies within operational technology and information technology environments.
- Demonstrate the ability to write quality reports for consumption by various levels of business and technical collaborators.
- Provide thought leadership in the field of cybersecurity among peers, be recognised internally as knowledge leader and contributes to the development and publication of case studies and other valuable knowledge.
- Connects with colleagues within the local firm and in other GHD member firms to demonstrate the knowledge, experience, and strength of the GHD global network to provide consistent, quality advice.
What you will bring to the team: - Experience within OT cybersecurity engineering and consulting.
- Knowledge and understanding Cybersecurity testing and assurance Cybersecurity engineering.
- Cybersecurity risk management knowledge.
- Hold relevant industry and cybersecurity certifications to have deep understanding of the domain and to meet client requirements.
- Sound understanding of global cybersecurity standards.
- Proven project management experience and ability to meet project goals.
- Proven grasp of digital transformation risk frameworks and landscape.
