Role Description

The Senior CADD Supervisor is a full-time hybrid role, located in New York City with flexibility for remote work. The Senior CADD Supervisor will supervise and train CADD Technicians, oversee the implementation of CADD standards, and ensure that work is delivered on time and within budget. The Senior CADD Supervisor will also support project teams in the preparation of construction documents and specifications, coordinate with other disciplines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Duties

  • Provide AutoCad & Microstation support for deliverables on multidisciplinary engineering projects.
  • Create, implement, and maintain client and company standards.
  • Manage complex projects with varying deadlines.
  • Meet with engineers, project managers, and designers to develop strategies to streamline workflow processes.
  • Provide training and support to CAD and junior engineering staff.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to CAD software.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in engineering technology, drafting, computer science or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience utilizing Bentley and Autodesk software for large complex projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD leadership role including workflow and standards development.
  • Expertise with AutoCAD, Microstation, and Revit is required..
  • Knowledge of BIM 360.
  • Experience configuring and implementing Bentley client workspaces.
  • Familiar with local and state agency CAD standards, including MTA and PANYNJ.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of CAD software, hardware, and networking.
  • Knowledgeable of CAD industry standards, best practices, and workflows.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues for various CAD softwares.
  • Experience with scanning and point cloud data preferred.
  • Experience utilizing ProjectWise Explorer, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office suite required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Salary:

  • $130k-$160k
