Role Description
Global Regulatory Tech team develops and supports applications required to ensure regulatory compliance. Regulatory obligations covered include Trade and Transaction reporting (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Mifid2, HKMA, CSA, CAT )
Team is looking for a senior BA for two key projects - CFTC re-write and EMIR refit. looking to renovate its trade and transaction reporting platforms and candidate will participate in requirements phase of the renovation program.
Mandatory
- Extensive BA experience with sound technical understanding of database design and structure. Proven track record of:
- Capturing and analyzing business requirements
- Analyzing existing systems and gapping requirements with as is
- Strong experience working with Regulatory reporting such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Mifid2.
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle for major financial asset classes across Swaps and OTC derivatives
- Understanding of common market and reference data required for regulatory compliance.
- Authoring and presenting business cases and well-versed working with PPTs and Visio tools.
- Comfortable presenting to and negotiating requirement details with users.
- Transforming solutions into technical specifications
- Defining test strategy for the project
- Designing and executing test cases
Desirable
Domain knowledge
- Understanding of Swaps (Equity, Fixed Income, Exchange/OTC Traded Derivatives, FX, Interest Rate Derivatives) trading and dataflows
- Regulatory Reporting and Compliance: MiFID I/ II, Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT), Dodd-Frank/ EMIR/HKMA/Canada.
Technical
- Working experience on SQL, XMLs, XSLTs
- Working experience on Testing tools like ReadyApi etc
- Working experience on test/project management tools such as Jira etc.
- Data management and governance tools like Collibra
Soft Skills
- Good interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and re-engineer complex manual processes.
- Exposure of working with global and cross-cultural teams.
