Job Overview

As a conceptual design leader with a passion for innovation and excellence, youll oversee the development of integrated campaigns that bring our brand narratives to life, and create real desire for our products and services. Proficient at branding and creative strategy, youll translate business objectives into effective marketing solutions. A hands-on leader, youll inspire and mentor a team of designers, art directors, photographers & stylists to develop fresh editorial, design, and photography concepts and execution.?

Youll collaborate primarily with copy partners and other creative and leadership within Creative, Digital Experience, Marketing Activation, Comms Planning, Project Management, & Photo Studio teams.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of designers to develop concepts for campaigns and all event types. Mentors and develops project teams, providing consistent and constructive feedback to keep them aligned to the overall vision & goals.
  • Leads major campaign development from brief to conceptualization and execution. Coaches team to ensure all creative work meets brand identity guidelines, reflects our customers diversity as well as design and fashion trends, and is grounded in an ongoing awareness of our competition.
  • Develops creative pitches to effectively articulate ideas and gain support & alignment from leadership.
  • Directs casting, styling, hair & makeup direction prior to shoots. Directs crew of photographers, stylists and hair & makeup on location and in studio as required.
  • Leads editorial planning and campaign wireframing.
  • Evaluates creative briefs to ensure clarity and alignment on direction before work begins, and collaborates with creative leaders to align on creative strategy.
  • Researches to drive innovation, from new fashion and promotional ideas to new digital content and experiences.
  • Inspires others through an innovative approach to design, ideation & ways of working.
  • Leverages a deep understanding of design systems, grids, color, typography and photography to deliver clear and powerful messages.
  • Plans, prioritizes and produces a high volume of work takes ownership from start to finish.
  • Meets deadlines and proactively communicates status of projects to partners and leaders.
  • Brings energy & enthusiasm to the team though celebrations, mentoring, volunteering and fundraising events.

Qualifications

  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply.
  • 6+ years of experience in advertising design or related design discipline
  • Portfolio demonstrating design and advertising communications excellence
  • Photo art direction experience required; 3+ years of management experience inclusive of photo art direction
  • Retail experience preferred, but not required
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Word
