Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for keeping the financial operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities:- Accounts Payable
- Keeping things accurate and smooth.
- Work closely with our admin and other teams to make sure we're not missing any invoices.
- Conduct weekly invoice checks - make sure last week's invoices got processed correctly.
- Accounts Receivable:
- Make sure the team's actions gel well with other teams and their processes.
- Ensure that all efforts are clearly documented
- Manage and grow the team's abilities.
- Closing the Books
- You will interface multiple times a month with our external tax accounting firm that helps with the heavy lift of executing the filings
- Dive into the details of sales and revenue numbers
- Monthly sales receipt reconciliation
- You'll be the go-to person for making sure our numbers are on point.
- New Software Rollouts
- Oversee pilot design and testing
- Make sure new tools land smoothly within the accounting department and make life easier
- Make sure that these new tools integrate well with other departments processes
You Are a Fit If You:
- Self starter- can figure stuff out on your own
- Can work in a fast pace environment
- Detail oriented
- Have experience with tools like
- Bill.com
- QuickBooks Online
- Concur
- Salesforce
- Intermediate excel skills -V-lookups, pivot tables, and smart formulas.
- Knowledgeable about sales tax processes and rules.
- Intercompany reconciliation experience
- Annual audits
