InGenesis is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to work with our client in Jamaica, NY. In this role, you will be working in the NYS Veteran's Home at St. Albans.

Job Duties
* Coordinate accounting functions and programs.
* Prepare financial analyses and reports.
* Prepare revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
* Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets.
* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
* Assist with annual audit preparations.
* Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
* Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
* Supervise and supporting Business Office staff.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* At least 3 years' experience
* Strong communication, organizational and analytical skill required
