As a member of the management team, the Sales Managers responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Reading and interpreting STR Reports
* Prospecting for new business
* Submitting proposals
* Answering to ownership, lenders and General Manager regarding daily activities, strategies, production and trends
* Displaying proficiency in both the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates and the management of retention, reactivation and acquisition of accounts
* Cultivating the hotels relationship with USC faculty, staff and students
* Managing digital marketing efforts and social media pages
* Developing and following through with SOPs
* Forecasting, budgeting and trend analysis
* Conducting site tours
* Assisting with setup, tear down and catering for meetings and events
* Assisting other departments when needed
**The ideal candidate for this position**
* Hyatt Sales experience very strongly preferred
* Results driven, energetic and focused
* Service oriented with professional selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills
* Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English
