**Job Identification:** The position of CKV & Suppression Sales Engineer is an element of the Sales and Marketing Department of ASF&S. The Rep is expected to work an average of 40 45 hours per week based on a 5-day work week. Normal working hours are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. From time to time, out of town travel and some overtime work may be involved which is determined by Customer Requirements and job completion deadlines.

**Purpose:** The CKV & Suppression Sales Engineer will oversee and be responsible for all sales aspects of the Commercial Ventilation Division; and develop marketing plans strategies, promotional programs, and technical assistance as required for specific business segments. Evaluate and report on assigned accounts, business conditions and competitor activity. Also aid in selling of wet, dry & clean agent fire suppression systems, repairs & inspections.

**Responsibilities:** The CKV & Suppression Sales Engineer is expected to perform many various tasks related to the CKV & Fire Suppression industry. The following is a partial list of those tasks:

* Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with All State Fire managers & sales team.

* Work with Executive Leadership at All State Fire & Security to achieve goals.

* Managing ASF&S existing client base while increasing sales to that base.

* Develop and maintain relationships with AHJs, Food Service Equipment Suppliers, Manufactures Reps, Sub Contractors, GCs.

* Be the lead liaison with All State Fire Electronic Division manufacturer reps.

* Prospect potential clients, qualify leads, and initiate sales cycle by scheduling meetings and collecting market data to contribute toward moving opportunities through the sales pipeline.

* Remain current on industry standards and practices. Provide team with industry and competitive knowledge and leverage field applications and best practices as applicable to contracting vehicles. Represent All State Fire and Security as the contract vehicle subject matter expert in professional and market related organizations.

* Conduct seminars, demonstrations, lunch & learns, etc. to generate, develop, and qualify leads for prospective customers.

* Drive a culture of collaboration across domains to achieve strategic cross sell growth objectives and expand product and service portfolio within All States combined customer base.

* Negotiate pricing and sales contracts with new clients.

* Maintain alignment between major projects to assure emphasis on accelerating collaborative sales growth through strategic projects that are supported and won by sales teams from Sprinkler, Suppression and Electronics.

* Develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings, qualify and prioritize opportunities, and maintain appropriate records.

* Assist with providing technical support to customers.

* Participate in trade shows, key customer account visits, and industry trade organizations.

* Maintain monthly reporting and update the firms database on an on-going basis.

* Meets profitability, revenue and productivity quotas.

* Forecasting monthly sales.

**Job Performance:** A review of performance is routinely conducted and reviewed by Branch Leader. This review is then presented and reviewed with the Employee to define areas in which improved performance is required, as well as areas of above average performance.

**Qualifications:** The following are the minimum qualifications for the Business Development Manager position:

* A strong desire to work and excel.

* Excellent Customer Service.

* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

* Ability to quickly gain the knowledge of the services and methodologies of ASF&S.

* Track record of new business attainment.

All State Fire & Security personnel are required to obtain and maintain certain licenses granted by certain jurisdictions in the State of New York. This is a mandatory requirement and failure to obtain and maintain these required licenses are grounds for dismissal. ASF&S provides the training required to obtain these licenses and pays the fees involved in testing and renewal.
