A busy and down-to-earth family in Roslyn, Long Island, is seeking a fantastic live-out nanny for their 2.5-year-old daughter. The general schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week from approximately 7:30am until 6:30pm with occasionalovertime. The rate for the role is $40-$45 per hour plus benefits. Having a drivers license and a car is preferred. Duties for this position include all aspects of childcare. In the morning the nanny will make breakfast and help with getting the child off to school. Throughout the day, tasks include keeping the child's room and common areas tidy, errands, and general organizational projects. After school the nanny will engage the child with projects and games, and assist with dinner and bed-time. Both parents are working professionals who work outside the home. The ideal candidate will have a warm and cheerful demeanor and will also be firm and strong when needed and remain with the family for several years.
