The Role:

We're delighted to have partnered with a forward-thinking and progressive industry-leader disrupting the financial sciences field.

The organisation are in play to combat the toughest challenges within investment management, insurance technology, securities, private equity and venture capitalists. They are looking for a Rust Software Engineer to build and operate low-latency, high throughput trading.

As a Rust Software Engineer, you will be expected to design, implement and test all components of a new strategic Rust platform. You will also design architectures of low-latency/high throughput distributed systems, as well as measure/optimize Rust code to achieve desired targets.

The ideal candidate should have the majority of the following:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience required; 4+ years of production-quality experience in Rust.
• Deep understanding of Rust language features (eg. toolchain, ecosystem/tools, best practice & design patterns).
• Strong understanding of CS fundamentals (eg. data structures, algorithms).
• Experience in performance/optimization tuning, modern CPU architectures & distributed system design.
• Proficient with Linux server technologies. OS kernels/drivers - highly desirable.
• Knowledge of static & dynamic analysis tools (eg. valgrind, LLVM, cachegrind, callgrind).
• Experience developing low latency/high throughput trading systems.
