As a **Room Attendant**, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel and continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming

* Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed

* Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed

* Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis

* Dispose of trash and recyclables

* Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner

* Perform guest turn down service, as needed

**Experience**

* Previous experience as a Room Attendant is an asset- Not a requirement

* Experience in Guest Service is an asset- Not a requirement

**Skills**

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work independently or within a Team

**Requirements**

* Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)

* Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotels satisfaction.

**Physical Demands**

* Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift.

* Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 23 kilograms

* Push up to 23 kilograms over moderate to long distances using a cart

* Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and stretching is required to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks

* Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
