Department: Sales Location: New York, NY **Job Overview**

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join the Paxton team working from home covering our North East Territory ideally based in New York. You will be wholly responsible for the execution of sales generation activities in North East. The RSM provides face to face support and assistance to security installation dealers (here after referred to as customers) and designated routes to market within their territory. This role could be seen as a hybrid role where you meet some customers face to face and others virtually.

**Job Role**

* Achieve sales targets for the respective territory and prospecting new customers

* Maintain good relations with Paxtons customer base

* Promote all products and services that Paxton offer

* Hold seminars and exhibitions to develop the commercial aspect of Paxtons business

* Work closely with distribution partners to ensure a good working relationship

* Offer sales and commercial support customers

* Support installers with end-user visits when required

* Report any changes to the market and issues regarding product and services

* Attend weekly conference calls and quarterly sales meetings and additional meetings as required

* Be prepared to travel outside your immediate territory including overnight stays when required by the company

* Ensure the activity profile meets the requirements of the company

* Other business related activities deemed necessary by senior management.

****Skills & Experience****

* A proven track record in sales with a minimum of 2 years experience meeting sales targets selling access control and or CCTV systems

* Proven experience working closely with distributors and dealers/integrators

* Excellent communication skills and capable of holding meetings at Director level

* A strong understanding of account management with the ability to encourage and inspire other sales professionals

* Excellent presentation skills.
