General Job Summary: Robotic -Maintenance Technician maintain robots and auxiliary equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for managing all aspect automated robots and auxiliary equipment. The Robotic -Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring a strong preventive maintenance program.   • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to robot programs and fixtures.
  • Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand tools, power tools, fixture, templates.
  • Attach wires between controllers.
  • Maintain inventories or production supplies such as sensors and cables.
  • Troubleshoot robotics systems, using knowledge of programmable controllers, electronics, mechanic, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Determine causes of operational problems or failures.
  • Robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs such as replacement of defective circuit boards, sensors, controllers, encoders, and servomotors.
  • Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components.
  • Maintain service records of robotic equipment or automated production systems.
  • Install, program, or repair robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors.
  • Interprets machine operation manuals and identifies problem source.
  • Disassembles and removes, repairs and/or replaces defective components on manufacturing equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, including lubricating and cleaning of manufacturing equipment.
  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machine.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Must possess own tools.
  • Maintain equipment to ensure machines produce quality parts.
  • Be able to respond to call-backs in emergency break down situations on an as needed basis.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-4 years of mechanical experience and willing to train on robotic systems.
Other Requirements: Ability to read blueprints, interpret operation manuals; understanding of manufacturing equipment and facilities; ability Job Requirements
