Alaant Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Health and Safety Coordinator, a pivotal role for our client's growing organization in Latham, NY. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring the organization's continued success and growth.As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the assigned municipal entities within your designated territory. Your efforts will be key in educating these entities to decrease claim frequency and severity, evaluating and auditing work environments, analyzing workers' compensation claim data, and aiding with training and written programs while developing and implementing adequate procedures.Hours and Benefits for the Health and Safety Coordinator:Monday Friday 35-hour work weekThe salary is between $75,000 - $80,000.Tremendous benefits packageResponsibilities of the Health and Safety Coordinator: You will conduct training sessions to raise awareness of proper safety and ergonomic initiatives.You will conduct internal audits/inspections to identify potential safety risks.You will review data to help identify or lower OSHA recordable incidents.Stay informed on OSHA compliance regulations.Requirements for the Health and Safety Coordinator: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.Excellent communication and presentation skillsExperience conducting audits and inspections to support and train on safety and proper ergonomics initiatives.Experience conducting safety and ergonomic training.Experience working with workers' compensation or similar insurance is preferred.Must be able to travel within New York State territory and hold a valid driver's license.For more details on this role contact:Megan Ermalowicz, Senior Talent Acquisition Manager She/Her/Hers ...@alaant.com, 518-###-####Alaant Workforce Solutions wants all interested applicants to know we hire a diverse workforce and are actively recruiting candidates in accordance with diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity policies.This is an immediate opportunity.
