USSA International is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join the Risk function as an Associate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in applying the risk framework across the organization, ensuring comprehensive risk oversight to identify, monitor, and manage risks encompassing all functions and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • RCSA Coordination: Administer the Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process, actively reviewing risks, controls, and mitigation actions.
  • Control Testing: Conduct tests of controls to identify enhancements needed for control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Business Continuity: Perform testing of business continuity plans to provide assurance of the organization's risk resilience.
  • Risk Event Analysis: Review and analyze risk events, contributing to strengthening the control environment.
  • Metrics Development: Develop metrics on risk drivers to enhance the organization's monitoring of risks and proactive risk management strategies.
  • Third-Party Monitoring: Monitor third-party relationships, conducting risk reviews and ensuring effective safeguards.
  • Enterprise Risk System: Maintain the enterprise risk system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Reporting: Generate insightful reports on the results for presentation to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications will be considered advantageous
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in risk management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the other functions and stakeholders
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

The salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The base salary range for this role will generally be between $90,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the salary offered may be outside this range based on these reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, the salary may be only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
