Our office located in Pittsford, NY is looking for a Retirement Plan Service Manager. This role provides client support and administrative services to the defined contribution clients; supports investment management and RPC consulting services.

****Job Functions****

**Plan Administration and Analytics**

* Manages vendor RFP (Request for Proposal) process for purpose of quoting and benchmarking services, fees and investments for clients. Coordinates with vendors to accurately illustrate proposals and prepare reports for clients.

* Reviews and finalizes client plan document summaries

* Prepares studies for prospective RPC clients, such as illustrations of various Profit Sharing allocation scenarios

* Prepares client investment analytics and recommendations, including coordination with Investment Management, for advisor approval

* Prepares client fee analyses.

* Coordinates and manages vendor transitions for clients.

* Understands back office support for plan investment review and analysis for investment fiduciary clients

**Client Service Functions**

* Responds to requests for information or explanations from clients and participants

* Drafts, copies and sends new plan documents to new clients

* Ensures service agreements and plan documents (IPS, EPS, Committee Charters, committee agendas, minutes, etc.) are completed and on file for all clients

* Prepares trust applications, and any related material, to open accounts for new clients

* Transitions client from prospective to on-going service

* Conversion support for Defined Contribution clients

* Prepares materials for client RFP, plan and investment review meetings

* Prepares and finalizes client review meeting minutes

* Ensures client meeting action items are completed

* Communicates process and task updates to advisors.

* Follow checklist protocols and provide input for improving processes and efficiencies.

* Responsible for timely filing of all required forms, documents and extension requests for all the firms defined contribution clients

* Daily review and saving of Internet newsletter for relevant articles concerning pension design and administration

**Quality Assurance and Reporting**

* Prepares and reviews annual and quarterly valuation reports

* Prepares and reviews IRS form 5500 including all needed attachments and extensions

* Prepares 401(k) ADP/ACP nondiscrimination, 415 limitation, 410(b) & top heavy testing

* Prepares and reviews loan, hardship, termination, RMD requests

* Prepares Profit Sharing new comparability studies

* Reviews participant annual and quarterly statements

* Reviews incoming census and trust information

* Reviews IRS form 1099-R for all plan distributions

Travel Requirement: As requested by management

****Education | Skill Requirements****

* Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics

* FINRA Series 7 and 66 and state insurance license, if required

* Pension designations QKA, preferred, continuing education required

* 5-7 years 401k plan administration experience

* Detail oriented; ability to prioritize work flow and projects; work with deadlines and be flexible

* Excellent communication skills, professional interactions with customers

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office; excel experience

* Ability to work as a Team Member; positive solution-focused attitude.

* The ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, to use the telephone and computer systems.

* File documents in high or low cabinets

* Ability to lift 10 pounds
